Linda joined our firm in 2020, moving from Bamford Law, and is based in our offices at Monaco. Linda enjoys the excitement and challenge of a busy conveyancing office and is committed to providing excellence in service to her clients. In addition to land transfer, her work encompasses Powers of Attorney, Wills and Trusts and Estate Administration. She also enjoys the subdivision of land, commercial leases, business sales and purchases, or property sharing agreements.
Linda qualified as a Legal Executive in May 2002. Before that she worked abroad for many years, mostly in Germany as a teacher of Air Force pilots and officers heading for international postings, and later as a teacher of trainee diplomats at the Diplomat Academy then in Bonn.
She also lived and worked in Norway and Denmark – wonderful countries and people, but not Italy which she would have much preferred! Walking for miles on the frozen ocean being one of her most unforgettable memories.
Linda studied in Christchurch at the University of Canterbury after finishing her schooling in Scotland. Her interest in language diversity and change, and linguistics coupled with philosophy meant that as soon as qualified, travel overseas was inevitable! There was much music in the family home – Linda has qualifications in piano playing and was a member of the Scottish Youth Orchestra as a violinist.
Linda is happiest in her garden amongst her flowers collected from around the world by her botanist parents; baking bread and cooking with passion.
